About The Founder

Ella McGill, Founder and CEO of Issentials University, began her wig-making journey in 2015 while searching for a solution to her own thinning, permed hair. What started as a personal need quickly became a passion that transformed her confidence and ultimately, her career.

In 2019, Ella launched her wig business while working full time as a school counselor. Within a year, she had scaled the brand to six figures by combining her creativity with her background in education and counseling. The overwhelming demand inspired her to begin teaching wig making in 2020, where she discovered her true passion for helping others build confidence and financial freedom through skill-based education.

By 2021, Ella took a leap of faith and transitioned into full time entrepreneurship, growing Issentials into a multiple six figure beauty brand. Today, she continues to share her proven methods, business systems, and strategies with aspiring entrepreneurs because she believes we can all win when we invest in ourselves and learn high income skills that change our lives.
