Installing a Glueless Lace Wig

• Make sure your hair is braided or molded down to head

• Use a wig cap to hold your hair in place.

• Hold the wig at the sides with the iSLAY label in the back.

• Wrap the adjustable band around your head with the lace positioned towards the front.

• Wrap the remainder of the wig cap behind your head and adjust the front of your wig in place. Adjust the wig front to back as needed to align the front edge with your natural hairline.

• Your wig should be sitting right above your natural hairline. You should not be able to see any of your natural hairline. The wig should cover your entire hairline.

• Style your baby hair/hairline as desired
  

Installing a U- part Lace Wig

• Make sure your hair is braided or twisted down where your leave out is in a U shape

• Use a wig cap to hold your braided hair in place.

• Hold the wig at the sides with the iSLAY label in the back.

• Use the provided combs to secure the wig at the top

• Adjust inner hook/tab (located on either side of the label at the nape) to tighten or loosen the circumference of the wig until the wig feels secure.

• Style your leave out as desired

General Styling Tips

When styling a wig, don't try to get every hair perfectly in place. This can make your wig look “unnatural”.Make sure to use wig brushes or combs. Avoid regular hair brushes.

For weekly maintenance, we offer wig services that will allow your wig to be styled and refreshed. It is just like going to the beauty shop without actually going to the beauty shop.

Washing Tips

• Before washing, gently ease out any tangles with a wig brush.

• To wash, soak the wig in a large basin of cold water and shampoo for 5-10 minutes. ( I recommend using Suave Clarifying Shampoo)

• Then rinse in COOL water until all the soap is rinsed out.

• Use conditioner and let it sit for another 5-10 minutes. ( I recommend using Aussie Pure Moist Conditioner)

• Do not use extremely hot water at any time as the curl texture and/or color can be altered overtime.

• Place wig on a towel or stand to air dry.

• Gently brush, comb or detangle the wig while it is wet.

• When the wig is completely dry, it is in prepared for styling

Raw Hair Styling Tips

• Use a wig brush or comb. Brush gently. Remove tangles first starting at the bottom and working your way up to prevent breakage.

• You may use rollers or curling iron to freshen the curls on the wig.

• For barrel curls – do not brush. Gently separate the curls with a pick comb or fingers.

• For long curly and wavy styles, use a wig brush to define and detangle the curls.

• For Straight styles gently brush or comb. Remove tangles first starting at the bottom and working your way up to prevent breakage and pass the flatiron through for a more sleek part.
