Proper care for your wig is essential to maintain its appearance and longevity. Here are some effective tips for washing your wig using Suave Clarifying Shampoo and Aussie Pure Moist Conditioner.

Supplies Needed

Suave Clarifying Shampoo
Aussie Pure Moist Conditioner
Wide-tooth comb
Clean towel
Sink or basin
Cool water

Step-by-Step Washing Instructions

Prepare the Wig: Gently detangle your wig using a wide-tooth comb. Start from the ends and work your way up to minimize breakage.
Fill a Basin: Fill a sink or basin with cool water. Avoid hot water as it can damage the fibers.
Add Shampoo: Pour a small amount of Suave Clarifying Shampoo into the water. Mix it gently to create a soapy solution.
Wash the Wig: Submerge the wig in the soapy water. Allow it to soak for about 5-10 minutes. Gently swish the wig in the water without rubbing or twisting.
Rinse: Carefully remove the wig from the water and rinse it under cool running water until all the shampoo is washed out.
Condition: Apply a generous amount of Aussie Pure Moist Conditioner to the wig, focusing on the ends. Allow it to sit for a few minutes to deeply hydrate the fibers.
Final Rinse: Rinse the conditioner out with cool water, ensuring that no product remains in the wig.
Drying: Gently pat the wig with a clean towel to remove excess water. Do not wring or twist the wig as this can cause damage.
Air Dry: Place the wig on a wig stand or a clean surface and let it air dry completely. Avoid using heat to dry the wig.

Additional Tips

Wash your wig every 6-8 wears, or as needed, depending on product buildup and wear.
Store your wig properly on a stand or in a box to maintain its shape.
Avoid using products with alcohol or heavy oils that can weigh down the fibers.
